LEARN ABOUT
Pine State Doula
Born from the belief that all people should have autonomy over their bodies and the support to make informed decisions around their reproduction, Pine State Doula was created to hold space for all pregnancy and birth experiences. I take a choice-centered approach. That means that whether you come to work with me for help beginning a pregnancy, at the end of a pregnancy, or the birth of a child, I prioritize your individual needs and desires.
Pine State Doula is an evidence-based practice, providing information and support that is up-to-date with current research and recommendations. Clients can use this information however they see fit and I will support them. My primary goal is for you to feel empowered to make the best decisions for your body, your baby, and your family.

Kat worked as a doula and childbirth educator in Nashville, TN for over 4 years before returning to her home state of Maine.
Taking pictures soon after Baby arrives is one of Kat’s favorite parts at a birth – having photos to preserve those fresh moments is so important!
Kat loves having the opportunity to connect with her clients. One of the biggest benefits to doula care is the relationship that can unfold over time.
